Philosophy can be intimidating as most people don’t understand why you would even consider doing it. It can be perceived as getting only “high” in life and can’t find a “job” if you major in it.

For me, philosophy is about organizing your “inner dialogue” in your head. It’s not about using fancy words. It’s not about being old, with a grey beard, and thinking with your fist to your chin or just asking “deep” questions about life. It’s about figuring out the voices in your head. From the voice of how you decide to plan your day to how you decide to give a beggar money or not, are examples of this in practice.

Some might think that’s insane to think of voices in your head. But I think it’s even more insane for someone to let these voices be louder than their own.
