“Government Source Inspection” is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the process and measurement of results are properly followed in accordance to procedure. They witness the heat treating process to ensure no falsification of records. And even though there are strict guidelines to follow, the sense of pressure of a “government representative”, “watching over us”, is not threatening.
