You have probably heard that life is like a mountain. And as the cliche goes, there are ups and downs in life, and there is this sense that we are working and climbing to get to our peak potential.
Philosophical Engineering
How many of us are even certain what we are working towards or what we are wanting to get to in life? Which pathway are we really following to get there? Is it the one where we expect to sit back, enjoy the ride with a drink in hand, put some money in a 401k, and risk having someone take us to where we want to go? Or do we dare risk it upon ourselves in making our own decisions for which pathway we want to actually take and where to get to in life? Maybe it would require in either case, to step beyond merely posting cliche memes we all know and hope to be true, and take a greater risk than the fear of someone not "liking" your post, and risking your personal fears of truly asking what you want from life. Only then, whichever mountain you choose, will you be on the mountain you "like".
